Martha Martin

Martha Ishizaki Martin, 94, of Kailua-Kona died July 3 at her residence. Born Sept. 1, 1917, in Papaikou, she was an executive secretary for the superintendent of schools and school board. She was also a Catholic church member.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. July 19 at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo for a graveside service and burial. The family requests casual attire worn and welcomes flowers. She is survived by daughter, Carol Davis of Kailua-Kona; brother, Joseph (Myra) Ignacio of Hilo; sisters, Eleanor Miguel of Waimea; Emogene Pacheco of Salt Lake, Oahu; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
