Clifford Cran Francis, 23, of Kapapala, Ka‘u died July 8 at his residence. He was born in Hilo. A celebration of his life will take place from 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 4, at the family residence at Kapapala Ranch, Ka‘u. Casual attire. He is survived by parents, Lani and Bill Petrie of Kapapala; brothers Alex Francis of Washington, Charles Petrie IV of Alaska; sister Kathleen (Tyler) Petrie Gray of Alaska; maternal grandmother Genevieve Cran of Kapapala; paternal grandparents, Charles & Rose Petrie of Oregon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
