Artists, who must be at least 18 years old, are asked to bring up to two pieces of original art of any medium to the Waimea gallery between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 29. There are no size limitations.

There are also no entry fees, however, when a piece sells, there is a suggested donation of 40 percent of the sale price to the council.

Artists may also bring up to 10 prints in clear sleeves for the print bins and cards featuring original images.

Exhibiting artists are asked to “sit” the gallery for four hours during the month-long display. The gallery’s regular hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Help hanging the show is also needed on July 29.

The Firehouse Gallery is a program of the council, which a 501(c)(3) organization. The gallery phone number is 887-1052.
