Taeko Sanekane Maki, 78, of Keaau, died June 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born June 12, 1934, in Pahoa, she was a retired anthurium exporter and member of the Waiakea Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. July 14, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. service.

She is survived by sons, Aaron Maki, of New York and Neal (Celeste) Maki, of Keaau; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
