Big Island police are asking the public’s help locating a 15-year-old Hilo girl reported as missing since June 1.

Lanasha Decosta is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and capri-cut pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
