Ichiro Yamaguchi, 89, of Waimea, died June 20 at his home. Born June 28, 1922, in Makahalau, he was retired from Parker Ranch, an Army veteran, and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Japanese American Civic Club and Waimea Senior Citizens.

Friends may call at 2 p.m. July 1 at Kamuela Hongwanji Mission for a 3 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Alice Yamaguchi, of Waimea; son, Craig (Carol) Yamaguchi, of Henderson, Nev.; daughter, Dee Yamaguchi, of Waimea; brother, Saburo Yamaguchi, of Honolulu; sisters, Satoe (Koichi) Miyamoto, of Pepeekeo, Alma (Santa) Murabayashi, of Gardena, Calif.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
