Frances Francesca Pelekane-Oliva 65, of Kailua-Kona, died June 5 in Las Vegas. Born and raised on Oahu, she was a retired elementary school educational assistant with special education children and former vice president and accountant of Hawaiian International Service and Tours.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to noon June 30 at the Honokohau Harbor Yacht Club pavilion.

She is survived by husband, Wilson Oliva Sr.; brothers, Herbert (Viola) Apiag, of Las Vegas, Ronald (Gale) Apiag, of Oregon, Gary Apiag, of Virginia; sisters, Loretta (Andrew) Rocha, of Oahu, Charlotte Apiag, of California; sons, George (Rose) Pelekane, of Kona, Gerald (Cheryl) Pelekane, of Hawaiian Oceanview Estates, Garrett (Jen) Pelekane, of Oahu, Gabriel (Ginny) Pelekane, of Kealakekua; hanai son, Rodney (Denise) Willis Jr., of Waimea; daughters, Georgine (Colbert) Kaimiola, of Kona, Geraldine (Alston Sr.) Kaleohano, of Hookena; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
