Young graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a major in history and an emphasis in art history. It wasn’t until she relocated to Hawaii 20 years ago and experienced its natural beauty that she began to paint. Through the medium of photography, she captured her surroundings and recreated those images into watercolors.
Recently, she has also come to express her artistic vision in mini collages. Using her graphic design background, with color, line and texture, she creates abstract patterns with a refined sense of detail.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday.
