Mary Ann Smythe, 60, of Waimea, died June 10. Born Aug. 23, 1951, in Hilo, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by mother, Mary Stevens, of Waimea; brother, Philip (Lee) Hocson, of Anahola, Kauai; sisters, Theresa (Max) Cabulizan, of Waimea, Antoinette (Carlton) Bello, of Pepeekeo, Jaye Hocson, of Las Vegas; stepbrothers, Fred (Renae) Stevens, of Texas, Harvey Stevens, of Waimea; stepsisters, Josephine Tilley, of Texas, Patricia (Karen) Haleamau, of Kona; hanai sister, Viola (Rockne) Araujo, of Ainaloa; numerous uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces and cousins.
