c Ronald Steven Doescher, 50, of no permanent address, pleaded guilty May 31 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and driving with an improper license. He was sentenced to pay $574 in fees, in addition to an undisclosed fine, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. His license was also suspended.

c Chad K. Mahuna, 30, of Kona, pleaded guilty May 31 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and consuming or possessing an intoxicating liquor while operating a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to pay $967 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course and ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.

c Shannon K. Paea, 21, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty May 31 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, driving with an improper license and failure to have no-fault motor vehicle insurance. She must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time and her license was suspended.
