Ford Motor Co. brands of cars and trucks headline Lanihau Center’s Saturday Cruise Night. The free event, also featuring the Kona Task Force on Feeding the Hungry, is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Bank of Hawaii parking lot.

Model Ts, Mercurys, Mustangs and Cobras will line up on either side of the KWXX, B-97 DJ tent and will lead the 7:30 p.m. parade around the shopping center parking lot. Owners of all Ford makes and models are invited to share the evening with more than 50 other hot rods, sports cars, antiques and imports.

The Kona Task Force on Feeding the Hungry will accept canned goods, bags of rice and monetary donations to help feed the hungry at its weekly Meet-and-Eat meals.

G. Cruz will emcee the event, playing classic rock ‘n’ roll music and hosting prize giveaways every half hour from 6:30 through 8:30 p.m. Everyone who donates to the Kona Task Force will receive tickets for the giveaway featuring Father’s Day-themed prizes from center merchants.
