Wailoa Art and Cultural Center will present the 13th annual Hawaii Photo Expo from Saturday to June 27. An opening reception and awards presentation is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Fine art photographer, publisher and writer Brooks Jensen is the juror for the expo. He will lead a free “walk and talk” through the exhibition from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. He will share his thoughts on the show and the selection process.
Additionally, the Hawaii Gourd Society will display traditionally decorated gourds during the expo. This event is an opportunity to learn about growing gourds and decorating them in the traditional way with a modern flair.
