Chopper makes emergency landing in Mountain View

A Blue Hawaiian helicopter made a precautionary landing outside Mountain View Monday afternoon.

According to the Fire Department, none of the five people on board were injured when the pilot landed the helicopter in an open field off North Kulani Road just before 2 p.m. The pilot reported a “chip warning light” came on, prompting the landing.
