c Roxanne Barnes, 57, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty May 7 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was sentenced to pay $937 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c Likana L. K. Hose, 27, of Hilo, pleaded guilty Feb. 27 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant, driving with an improper license and failure to perform duties required after an accident or striking an unattended vehicle or property. He was sentenced May 7 to $511 in fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also serve an unspecified amount of jail time.
c Peter S. Wolfe, 42, of Waikoloa, pleaded guilty May 7 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $437 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program. He must also perform an unspecified number of community service hours.
c John F. Sanders, 47, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded no contest May 10 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant. He was sentenced to pay $687 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
c William F. Gienger, 33, of Kailua-Kona, pleaded guilty May 14 to driving under the influence of an intoxicant and reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay $1,224 in fines and fees, referred to a driver’s education course, ordered to undergo substance abuse assessment and, if determined required, treatment, and enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
