Warren Perry Curtis, 97, of Hilo, died May 18 at home. Born in Overland Park, Mo., he was a retired printer, served as a Navy Seabee in World War II and member of the International Typographic Union.

Private service were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary gifts.

He is survived by wife, Mary Curtis, of Hilo; sons, Michael (Cherrie) Curtis and Timothy (Linda) Curtis, both of San Diego; stepsons, Mark (Alexis) Kane and Jonathan (Kathy) Kane, both of Oahu, Gregory (Beverly) Kane, of Hilo; daughters, Deedee (Joseph) Dodd and Susanna (Damien) Rhodes, both of Oregon, Mary (Michael) Dague, of Washington; stepdaughters, Charlene (Bud) Fields and Georgia (Ron) Hosoda, both of California, Whilhelmina Kane, of Colorado, Teresa Knocke, of Hilo; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
