Wyland Oceanfront Gallery will host the largest local art exhibition of the year from 6 to 9:30 p.m. today. The “Best of the West — All Big Island Artist Show” will feature 15 Big Island artists unveiling their newest originals and limited edition releases.
Wyland Oceanfront Gallery will host the largest local art exhibition of the year from 6 to 9:30 p.m. today. The “Best of the West — All Big Island Artist Show” will feature 15 Big Island artists unveiling their newest originals and limited edition releases.
Sculptor Scott Hanson will headline the cast of local talent. Ben Raquinio, known for his large custom gates, will present his latest wall sculpture. Dave Golston will show his latest collection of hand-carved koa paintings. John Bosque will display his koa clocks and lamps; Rod Crisp will show koa and bamboo creations. Other artists presenting at the show include Mark Tomczak, Sandra Bennett, Barbara Hanson, Christian LaCuesta, Brad “Tiki Shark” Parker, Marilyn Weatherford, Darcy, Diane Tunnell, Jason Denaro, Tibor and Clint Doyle.
Refreshments and admission to the show are free. During thes event, the gallery will offer special pricing, gifts with purchases, a fine art drawing and free shipping.
