Stylin’ grand opening Saturday at Lanihau

Stylin’ will hold a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Owned by Michelle Daquioag, Stylin’ offers hardcore street, urban, rock and lifestyle clothing, as well as accessories, including sunglasses, hats and jewelry.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Mountain Thunder claims international award

Mountain Thunder Coffee Plantation won the Certified Gold Bean Award at the Salon International de l’Alimentation Coffee Cup Competition in Montreal, in conjunction with Roast Magazine. Mountain Thunder’s signature Cloud Forest Estate coffee has won both national and now international awards.

Mabuni wins essay contest

Auto Body Hawaii has announced the winner of this year’s Senior Essay Contest answering the question: “How Can Businesses Better Serve Their Communities?”

The winner is Brandt Mabuni from Makua Lani Christian School. Mabuni was to receive a $1,000 cash prize at Makua Lani’s senior award event today.
