David Nicholls
David Kipling “Kip” Nicholls, 60, of Mountain View, died April 27 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Boston, he was a former firefighter for the city of Portland, Ore.
Private services were held.
He is survived by companion, Carmen Downs, of Mountain View; sons, Ryan Nicholls, of Kansas, Cayle (Christina) Nicholls, of San Francisco; sister, Dana (Greg) Rheault, of Vancouver, Wash.; brother, Jeffrey Nicholls, of Salt Lake City; stepdaughter, Clarissa (Alex) Fernandes, of Hilo; stepson, Jonathan Downs, of Hilo; one grandson; one step-grandson.
