Pedro “Augie” Agustin, 72, of Aiea, Oahu, died April 15. Born Jan. 29, 1940, in Pahala, he was a retired U.S. government sheet metal mechanic at Pearl Harbor Shipyard.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. May 4 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary in Honolulu for a 6 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Pauline Agustin, of Aiea, Oahu; son, Preston Agustin, of Aiea, Oahu; daughter, Pamela (Arnulfo Jr.) Agpaoa, of Aiea, Oahu; brothers, Herman Agustin Sr., of Philippines, Francisco Agustin and Fidelio Agustin, both of Pahala, Emilio Agustin, of Pepeekeo; sister, Rose Iwaki, of Ewa Beach, Oahu; two grandchildren.
