Elizabeth Kapeka Medeiros, 86, of Hilo, died April 23 at the Cariaga Foster Family home. Born Jan. 25, 1926, in Hilo, she was a retired nurse’s assistant and member of 3 Days and 3 Nights Study Hall.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. May 4 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 10 a.m. service. Burial to follow at Veterans Cemetery No. 1. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Lyman (Linda) Medeiros, of Kailua-Kona, Daniel (Kelly) Medeiros, of Maui; brother, Edward Hanohano, of Hilo; sister, Janet (Tom) Silva, of Hilo; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
