Big Island police are searching for teen siblings reported missing from Hilo.

Mariah Akima, 16, was reported missing since March 2, according to the Hawaii Police Department. She is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 122 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and black jeans.

Zachary Akima, 15, has been missing since March 3, according to police. He is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red, black and white plaid jacket, black and blue surf shorts and a black cap.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call the department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
