Waimea Nature Park, Ulu Laau, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a $2,500 grant from Hawaii Community Foundation’s HAPA Fund. This grant was awarded specifically for chipping services badly needed in the park. The park will use this grant to hire a chipper to dispose of branches and four large Christmas berry trees. All chips will remain in the park for use as mulch, on trails and to keep the dust down in the driveway.
