Sadako Okimoto, 95, of Hilo, died March 15 at home. Born in Honomu, she was a retired secretary with state Board of Education and member of Church of the Holy Cross.
Sadako Okimoto, 95, of Hilo, died March 15 at home. Born in Honomu, she was a retired secretary with state Board of Education and member of Church of the Holy Cross.
Private family services were held. Family requests no flowers or monetary donations.
She is survived by sisters, Tomiye Nakano, of Aiea, Oahu, Hisae (Gary) Yamaguchi ,of Wahiawa, Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews.
