In celebration of National Library Week, award-winning slack key guitarist and recording artist, John Keawe, will present “A Tribute to Slack Key” at Kailua-Kona Public Library at 2 p.m. on March 31. Admission is free.

In celebration of National Library Week, award-winning slack key guitarist and recording artist, John Keawe, will present “A Tribute to Slack Key” at Kailua-Kona Public Library at 2 p.m. on March 31. Admission is free.

Keawe will offer a tribute to the slack key style and include selections from the music of Raymond Kane, Leonard Quan and others, in addition to presenting his original compositions.

This 45-minute program is recommended for ages 5 and older. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
