With the help of the American Association of University Women, Kona Stories bookstore will be hosting a story time for children ages 3 to 5, the last Wednesday of each month.
March’s story time, scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, will feature stories and crafts to celebrate the rich hula culture in Hawaii. There will be a lei making lesson, some hula instruction and stories about hula. There will be a $5 participation fee to cover crafts and snack. Space is limited to 30 children. Please check in at Kona Stories, 10 minutes before story time begins.
The fun and learning take place in the courtyard of the Keauhou Shopping center on the KTA side. For more information, call 324-0350.
