Kiyomi Otani, 103, of Hilo, died March 16 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Puna, she was a homemaker and member of the Upper Kaumana Kumiai.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 25 at Hilo Hooganji Mission for a 10 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.

She is survived by sons, Noriaki (Fujie) Otani and James Otani, both of Hilo; daughters, Tsuruyo Nakamoto, Chiyono (Itsuo) Kitamura and Lorraine Matsu, both of Hilo, Mae (Shozo) Sato, of Honolulu; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two hanai great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
