Betty Gerstner Studio is hosting a china painting portrait seminar by renowned porcelain painter Mariela Villasmil-Kaminski. Students may choose the subject of their portrait painting. Porcelain tiles and plaques are available at the studio. This three-day seminar is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m. April 10 through 12. Although some experience in china painting is desirable, beginners are welcome.

Gerstner’s studio is located in Captain Cook. She teaches china painting classes twice a week and invites guest instructors to hold seminars at her studio several times a year. Gerstner is a professional porcelain painter with over 30 years experience in teaching this special art medium.
