Teruo Goma, 93, of Honokaa, died March 2 at Hale Hoola Hamakua care facility. Born in Waimea, he served in the U.S. Army 100th Battalion and retired as the business proprietor of Uptown Barber Shop in Honokaa.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. March 24 at Honokaa Hongwanji for a 4 p.m. service is scheduled. Family requests no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Hayame Goma, of Honokaa; sons, Raymond Goma, of Honokaa, Michael (Barbara) Goma, of California; daughter, Elaine Goma, of Honolulu; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
