Kenneth Lee Denton, 76, of Ocean View, died March 10. Born Nov. 11, 1935, in Houston. Ken, aka, Choo-choo man, was an Aerospace Engineer, and came to Hawaii in 1986 where he was a Harbor master on Maui. He eventually came to the Big Island and was the Harbor master at Honokohau Harbor, and settled in Ocean View, sharing his love of remote control plane and trains with the community. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Denton of Ocean View; sons, Robert Lee Denton and Richard Wesley Denton both of Woodland Hills, California; brothers, Ernest Denton of Rye, Texas, and Lee McFadden of Houston, Texas; sister Joyce Smith of round Rock, Texas; two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family has private services planned. Arrangements by A Hui Hou Crematory & Funeral Home of West Hawaii.
