A 9-year-old Kurtistown boy has been reported missing.

Disen Hue-Aragaki left his home around 4 p.m. Wednesday and failed to return, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Hue-Aragaki is described as Filipino, 4 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 60 pounds with a slim build and short black hair, according to police. He was last seen wearing camouflage swim shorts.

Police Area I Criminal Investigation Division Juvenile Aid Section Lt. Lucille Melemai did not immediately respond to an inquiry seeking further information on the boy and whether he would travel to West Hawaii.
