Frank Kamahele
Frank Kamahele, 81, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 18 at his residence. Born Dec. 1, 1930, in Puna, he was a retired state airport district manager and Air Force veteran.
Friends may call at 2 p.m. March 3 at the Kona Outdoor Circle in Kailua-Kona for 3 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and flowers omitted.
He is survived by wife, Betty Kamahele, of Kailua-Kona; son, Wayne (Ronda) Kamahele, of Maryland; hanai sons, Harold (Janice) Caravalho, of Kailua-Kona, James (Alyn) Ishii, of Hilo; daughters, Janyce Kamahele, of California, Sharon (Ted) Kamahele-Toriano, of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Richard (Selena) Elderts Figuero, of San Francisco, Joseph (Inez) Elderts, of Washington; sisters, Blanche (George) DeConte, of Honolulu, Verdarine (Henry) Ornellas, of Hilo, Puanani Mukai, of Puna; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Butler
Mary Nancy Butler, 82, of Waimea, formerly of St. Louis, died Feb. 6 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born May 17, 1929, in St. Louis, she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Waimea.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 3 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea for a 10 a.m. Mass.
She is survived by sisters, Pegi (Niall) Scully, of Waimea, Judy (Maris) Fravel, of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; numerous nieces and nephews.
