Ambrosio Demecillo
Ambrosio Paparico Demecillo, 83, of Keaau, died Jan. 28 at his residence. Born Oct. 20, 1928, in Kapaa, Kauai, he was a retired painter at Hickam Air Force Base on Oahu.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 3 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio (Makai Chapel) on Oahu for a 10:30 a.m. memorial service. Urn committal follows at 1 p.m. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by son, Donovan Demecillo, of Hawaii; brothers, Celino Demecillo and David Demecillo, both of Hawaii; sister, Marcela Oman, of Washington; one grandchild.

Ernesto Tabac
Ernesto Tabac, 69, of Paauilo, died Feb. 18 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born June 26, 1942, in Paauhau, he worked for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., retired from Parker Ranch and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa and Hamakua Coast Senior Softball Team.
Friends may call at 8 a.m. March 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Honokaa for a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Harriet Tabac, of Paauilo; daughters, Ernette (Michael) Akau, of Honokaa, Erlynn (Kyle Matsuoka) Tabac, of Paauilo; son, Troy Tabac, of Paauilo; brothers, Simplicio (Demetria) Tabac, of Honokaa, Amador Tabac, of Paauhau, James (Sally) Tabac, of Honolulu; sisters, Erminia Villa and Anita (Jim Powers) Tabac-Powers, both of Honokaa, Rosita Ebreo, of Paauilo, Beatrice Tabac, of Waimea, Marina (Nelson) Silva, of Kauai; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lottie Tarpley
Lottie “Koko” Teruko Tarpley, 64, of Lehuula, died Feb. 24 at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 29, 1947, in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker, waitress, band member with the former Koko & the Kasuals, member of Lanakila Congregational Church and Kainaliu Kumiai.

Henry Rezentes
Henry Jacinto Rezentes, 91, of Hilo, died Feb. 17 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Nov. 18, 1920, in Ahualoa, he was a carpenter, painter, former maintenance mechanic for the former Flintkote Co. and World War II Army veteran.
Public services will be held in July.
His is survived by daughter, Carol Rezentes, of Kailua, Oahu; sons, Harvey Rezentes, of Las Vegas, Rodney (Colleen) Rezentes, of Hilo; brother, Morris Rezentes, of Honolulu; sister, Nellie (Larry) Vierra, of Sandy, Utah; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Keikichi Okada
Keikichi Okada, 62, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 19 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Oct. 28, 1949, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, he was a clothing designer.
Private services will be held at Kaiwi Point.
He is survived by brother, George Okada, of Albertson, N.Y.; daughter, Keiko Niccolini, of New York; two grandchildren.

Melanie Jordan
Melanie Joyce Kaye Jordan, 54, of Kailua-Kona and Anchorage, Alaska, died Feb. 24 at her residence. She was born Aug. 19, 1957, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Merrill “Kimo” Susumu Kanna, 64, of Hilo, died Feb. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 24, 1947, in Hilo, he was a retired caterer, employed by Jamielee Salon in Hilo, a Vietnam Navy veteran and member of the Hakalau Jodo Mission, Hui Okinawa, Hilo Okinawan Cultural Club, Japanese Community Association of Hawaii and instructor of the Ryusei Honryu Ryusei Kai Maizuru Kai School of Okinawan Dance.
