Janice Kaye Genz, 73, of Glenwood, died Feb. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wisconsin, she was the office manager for Volcano Helicopters.
Friends may call at noon Feb. 24 at the family farm in Glenwood for a celebration of life.
She is survived by sons, Tweed Johnston and Jon Johnston, both of Glenwood; brother, Gerald (Betty) Moede, of Wisconsin; sister, Jeanne (Don) Alhborg, of Wisconsin; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Agan
Dorothy Agan, 82, of Hilo, died Feb. 22 at her home. Born Aug. 7, 1929, in Hilo, she was retired from Life Care Center of Hilo, part-time tutor for the Department of Education’s Hiilani Center and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kawailani Kumiai and Retired Senior Volunteer Program volunteer.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by son, Lloyd Agan, of Hilo; daughters, Cynthia (David) Reis, of Pahoa, Yvonne Ferreira, of Hilo, Corliss (Roy) Yamada, of Kihei, Maui; brother, Ricarte (Frances) Naiga, of Pahoa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
