Hilo Councilman Dennis Onishi, in response to an article in Thursday’s newspaper, said he amended a resolution giving money to the Food Basket to remove any reference to a donation from Na Leo O Hawaii public television. He said the money would come from the council’s budget and has no relation to the television station’s donation.
