Fraud protection is seminar topic
Bank of Hawaii is hosting part three of its series of financial education seminars throughout the state. In “Protecting Yourself Against Fraud,” attendees will learn how to help prevent themselves or their loved ones from becoming a victim of fraudulent schemes and scams. Attendees will also receive a free booklet with information about protecting themselves from various forms of fraud and information theft. The seminar will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 28 at the Kona branch at 75-5595 Palani Road.
The seminars are free to the public — customers and non-customers — and are led by financial experts from Bank of Hawaii. No products or services will be sold at the seminars, and no promotional materials will be distributed. The sessions are intended to be educational.
