Coffee quality is workshop focus
Kona Coffee Farmers Association is sponsoring a workshop on “Coffee Wetmill Practices — How They Affect Your Coffee Quality” from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cornerstone Farms on Painted Church Road.

Easley, Suezaki earn certifications
Taylor Easley, a financial adviser in Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group office in Kailua-Kona, has been awarded the certified financial planner certification.
Easley has worked at Morgan Stanley since 2000. In addition to providing financial planning services, he provides a variety of other advisory and nonadvisory financial services, including brokerage services to clients who seek such services.
The certified financial planner designation identifies those individuals who have met the experience and ethical requirements, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the certified financial planner certification examination covering the following areas: financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits and estate planning. Certified financial planner certificants must also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold the Certified Planner Board of Standards Inc.’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Dale L. Ishida Suezaki, a senior consultant and financial adviser in the firm’s Global Wealth Management Group office, has been awarded the Certified Investment Management Analyst, or CIMA, professional designation. Suezaki has worked at Morgan Stanley since 2000.
