Workshop on exporting coming to Kona
The U.S. Small Business Administration is presenting a free Export Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 20 at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority in Kailua-Kona.
This workshop is designed to help existing small business owners and potential owners discover new markets beyond the Hawaiian Islands.
Representatives from various agencies will discuss opportunities in the changing economy. Participants will learn about export and import opportunities, financing, Foreign Trade Zone, rules and regulations for shipping goods and expanding market reach.
