Hawaii Big Island Beef, Hawaii’s new premier beef raising company, is set to emerge as a major player in the all-natural beef market. Headquartered in Paauilo, Big Island Beef represents the culmination of a merger between two established Hawaiian beef companies: Andrade Processing facility/J&J’s Meat Markets and Hawaii Beef Producers. Now, held under the name of Hawaii Beef Producers LLC, the company is launching Hawaii Big Island Beef as its showcase brand of Hawaiian beef products.
Chairman and chief executive officer is David S. de Luz Jr.
Jill Andrade-Mattos, descendent of the renowned Hawaiian beef pioneering family, will serve as general manager for all facilities.
Specializing in all-natural beef fed on native Hawaiian grasses, Hawaiian Big Island Beef is 100 percent chemical free — no antibiotics, steroids or other enhancements.
