Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 35-year-old Puna man wanted for allegedly driving recklessly and resisting an order to stop on Jan. 12.

Samson Perez, of the Ainaloa subdivision, is described as being part-Hawaiian, about 6 feet tall, weighing 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He has a teardrop tattoo under each eye and was last seen with wavy, shoulder-length hair.

He is known to operate a red-and-white dirt bike-type motorcycle, according to police.
