Paul Caitano Sr.
Paul Kanaina Kaelemakule Caitano Sr., 88, of Hilo, died Jan. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 8, 1924, in Kaauhulu, North Kohala, he was a retired construction worker for the Operators Engineers Local 3, ran his own business after retiring, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Haili Congregational Church.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Jan. 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Jan. 18 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 1 for a graveside committal service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Leilani Caitano, of Hilo; sons, Paul (Yvonne) Caitano Jr., of Hilo, Jeffrey (Rose) Carter and Brett (Jill) Carter, both of Mililani, Oahu, Duane Caitano, of Germany; daughters, Janice (Steve) Brawner, of Illinois, Catherine Stevens and Michelle (Nolan) Martines, both of Hilo; hanai son, Guy (Karen) Fukushima, of Hilo; sisters, Maraea Rosehill and Elizabeth (Daniel) Chang, both of Honolulu; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Liane Cambra
Liane Tomiko Kawamura Cambra, 47, of Hilo, died Jan. 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 23, 1964, in Hilo, she was an office assistant at the state Department of Health Sanitation/Environmental Services Division office in Hilo.
Friends may call at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by husband, Evan Cambra, of Hilo; parents, Samuel and Emileen Kawamura, of Hilo; sisters, Lynn Kinoshita, of Hilo, Lorna (David) Tsuchiya, of Kekaha, Kauai; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
