<p>Kona Coast Little League won the District 3 Minors Big Island championships June 2 at Honokaa’s Parks and Recreation complex, giving the ages 9-10 team a berth in the Minors state tournament, which takes place June 21-26 on Kauai. Team members are: Logan Cagampang, Jesse Canda, Dallas Louis, Keenan Toriano, Kanale Hose-Colburn, Samson Iona, Zion Goodwin, James Kapela, Elisha Martin, Jakob Garcia, Weston Davis, Bobby Pilanca-Emmsley and Gunner Delumeau. Isaac Cagampang serves as the team’s manager, while assistant coaches Keeane Toriano and Kimo Kapela round out the coaching staff. The team is raising funds to offset the cost of the trip to Kauai.
