Valentina Lang Lui-Kwan, 92, of Honolulu died March 20, 2013, in Honolulu. Born in Hil0, she was an active member of St. Joseph’s, St. Stephen’s and Blessed Sacrament Catholic churches.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. April 7 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, East Chapel for a 6 p.m. rosary and service. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. April 8 at Blessed Sacrament Church for a 10 a.m. Latin Mass. Burial is at 11:30 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Family requests aloha attire be worn.
She is survived by sons, Benedict, Ivan (Frances), Gregory (Nancy), Timothy (Marty), James (Lynda), Randal (Julia), Alexander (Natalie), all of Honolulu; daughters, Anne (Daniel Jr.) Akaka of Kailua-Kona, Valerie Lui-Kwan and Nicola Giardina, both of Honolulu; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
