The Rev. Tuck Wah K. Lee, 93, of Hilo died Nov. 22 at home. Born in Olaa, he was a missionary in Micronesia, a retired minister with the United Church of Christ, as well as having served at parishes on Hawaii Island, Oahu and Molokai; member of the Olaa First Hawaiian Congregational Church, Keaukaha Panaewa Farmer’s Association and Haili Men’s Club and an ILWU shop steward in Hilo.
Friends may call are 5 p.m. Dec. 7 at Haili Congregational Church for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. Dec. 8 at Homelani Memorial Park for a graveside service. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers and lei are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Lee of Hilo; sons, Kenneth (Brenda) Lee of Hilo, Francis (Pat) Lee of Waimea; brothers, Kwai Lee of Hilo, Peter (Florence) Lee of Kona; sisters, Miu Matsumura of Hilo, Miu (Billy) Sibayton of Keaau; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
