Sonny Puerto
Sonny Puerto, 81, of Keaau,died August 5 at Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in the Philipines and he retired as an bartender for Manele Bay Hotel on the island of Lanai. A funeral service is scheduled at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home on Friday. Visitation begins at 6 p.m., followed by service at 7p.m. He is survived by his wife Josefina E. Puerto of Keaau; son Sonny E. Puerto Jr. of Keaau; daughters Jane E. Puerto of Keaau, Felicia P. Remmen of Washington; one grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
