Mitsue “Mitzi” Yamauchi Asato, 100, of Waimea died Nov. 15 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Jan. 16, 1912, in Lahaina, Maui, she was a waitress, cook and baker at Morikawa Restaurant and member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church and Na Kupuna Serenaders and Dancers.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 561 Front St., Lahaina, Maui, for an 11 a.m. service. Urn burial follows at 1 p.m. at Holy Innocents Cemetery.
