John Anthony “Tony” Walls, 61, of Hilo died Jan. 31, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center Extended Care Unit. Born in Alaska, he was a retired floral designer for Barb’s Florist. Memorial
Friends may call at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 at United Community Church for a service. A celebration of life follows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coconut Willy’s & Baker Tom’s at Uncle Billy’s Hotel, 87 Banyan Drive.
He is survived by parents, John Walls and Barbara Walls, both of Hilo; son, John Walls of Alaska; daughter, Megan Walls of Hilo; brothers, George (Jenna) Walls of Hakalau, Rand Walls of Hilo; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
