Jay Patterson Sr.
Jay B. Patterson Sr., 61, of Kekaha, Kauai, formerly of Kailua-Kona, died Dec. 5 at home. Born in Los Angeles, he was a master carpenter before venturing into other trades.
He is survived by children, Misty (Richard) Pali of Big Island, Jaylin (James Jr.) Grace of Big Island, Jay (Kristen) Patterson Jr. of Texas, Gloria Long-Patterson of Missouri; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted with cremation and a final resting ceremony in Kailua-Kona is being planned for summer 2013. Condolences may be addressed to Patterson Ohana, 108 Hoomalu Place, Hilo, HI 96720.
