Isaac (Ike) Kimura, 72, died Jan. 22, 2013, at his home in McMinnville, Ore. Born June 14, 1940, in Kealakekua, he was a teacher and athletic coach in Oregon.

He is survived by wife, Jean; sons, Mark (Meghan) Kimura, Greg Kimura and Peter (Michelle) Kimura; daughter, Ann (Jeremy) Pfisthner; stepson, Joel Edwards; brothers, Calvin (Mary) Kimura, Brian (Felicia) Kimura; sister, Winifred Kimura; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
