Fusano Harai

Fusano Harai, 101, of Kailua-Kona June 28, 2013, at her residence. Born Oct. 11, 1911, in Napoopoo, she was a retired coffee farmer, commercial fisherwoman and member of Daifukuji Soto Mission and Kinuwai Kumi.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. July 5 at Kona Daifukuji Soto Mission in Honalo for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by sons, Myles (Margaret) Harai of California, Stanley Harai and Albert Harai, both of Kailua-Kona, Herbert (Kazuko) Harai of Mililani, Oahu; brothers, Hideo (Gail) Maruyama of Captain Cook, Teruo (Mae) Maruyama of Honolulu; sister, Yaeko Hanaoka of Honolulu; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
