Ellen Aiona-Aka
Ellen Kaleimomi Haili Aiona-Aka, 81, of Hilo died Feb. 9, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 25 at the Hilo Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for an 11 a.m. memorial service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
She is survived by sons, Randy (Neila) Mahi of Arizona, Russell Mahi of Honokaa, Royden (Marsha) Mahi of Hilo; daughters, Deidre Mahi, Debbie Mahi and Denise Ferreira, all of Hilo; hanai daughters, Crystal Spaulding of Hilo, Heidi Whitney of San Diego; brother, Rodney (Pearl) Haili of Hilo; sister, Mariah Chun of Hilo; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
